Snainton Golf Pro faces Monty!

Snainton Golf Professional John Hinchliffe, enjoyed recent success in the team event at the Colin Montgomerie Golf Day.  The event took place in September on the Championship Duchess course at Woburn Golf Club.

John shot a two over par 74 in blustery conditions to be pipped by one shot.  A consolation for Hinchliffe was that he won the team event and is pictured with Montgomerie receiving the prizes.

Bay 19 is Deliciouslyyorkshire!

Bay 19, the eatery and bar based at Snainton Golf Centre, has been granted membership to the Deliciouslyyorkshire Menu Scheme.  Deliciouslyyorkshire celebrates all things food and drink in the Yorkshire and Humber region.  Businesses provide evidence of their locally purchased produce to become a member and are continually assessed.

Since opening in April 2010, Bay 19 has strived to source its produce from local suppliers to ensure quality and help boost the local economy.  By securing this membership, it provides additional reassurance to customers of the food's quality and freshness.

Peter Kirby, Head Cook commented; "We source a big percentage of our food and drink from local suppliers to offer our customers only the freshest, seasonal ingredients in our dishes.  We are delighted to have secured  membership to this scheme".
